As Digital Solutions Architect, you will lead the evaluation, onboarding, and optimization of tenant workloads on our application hosting platform. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between platform engineering and application teams, ensuring solutions meet platform standards, security requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in cloud native and open source technologies, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to guide teams toward scalable, secure, and efficient outcomes. You will translate customer IT needs into actionable plans, design architecture products, and drive transformations such as cloud migration, advanced technology integration, and modernization of legacy systems for a Marine Corps client. As a seasoned solutions architect, you'll also mentor aspiring developers to help shape the next generation of IT leaders.

Requirements
Required:
- 3+ years of experience developing software requirements and creating supporting documentation
- 3+ years of experience in quickly analyzing new concepts, interpreting client needs, and shaping effective solutions by utilizing team strengths
- 3+ years of experience in architecture or software development roles, including full-stack application design using frameworks such as Python, Node.js, NGINX, React, or Angular
- 3+ years of experience in large-scale systems integration and cross-domain solutions, including government and Department of Defense interfaces
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with tight project timelines and consistent client delivery
- Experience collaborating within cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital solutions that align with business goals
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field
Preferred:
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, Figma, or Sketch
- Experience in facilitating stakeholder interviews, developing personas, mapping user journeys, and conducting user observations
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience in Zero Trust architecture, service mesh technologies, and multi-tenant platforms
- Experience in supporting cloud technologies, distributed systems, or developer platforms
- Experience in microservices, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, orchestration, and containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Serverless
- Experience in advanced analytics, AI/ML workflows, and MLOps pipelines for intelligent decision-making systems
- Master's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field
- AWS Solution Architect or CompTIA Security+ Certification

Work Location
This position is on-site in Uruma City, Japan. If listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. If hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently. If onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
Salary
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
