Supervisory Store Associate
Directs and controls the operations and personnel of the commissary front end customer service department, modifying schedules based on personnel capabilities and leave.
Responsibilities
- Directs and controls the operations and personnel of the commissary front end customer service department.
- Modifies schedules based on personnel capabilities, planned and emergency leave schedules, and position vacancies.
- Monitors and supervises all register transactions.
- Ensures new personnel receive proper orientation and provides on-the-job training.
- Personally conducts or oversees cash pickups at various times during the work day.
- Responds to customer questions and issues.
- Reviews financial reports related to cash accountability and enforces procedures for control and protection of commissary funds.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service which includes:
- Leading and supervising multiple departments within a grocery store.
- Utilizing automated systems to generate reports.
- Providing on-the-job training for new workers.
Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

Compensation and Tour Details
- Salary Range: $43,106 to $56,039 per year.
- Tour Length: The initial length of this overseas tour is 24 months for positions located in Okinawa.
