This role involves distributing and collecting testing materials, grading results, monitoring students, and preparing instructional materials for classroom lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Distributing and collecting testing materials as needed by students.
  • Grading and providing testing results using identified scoring techniques.
  • Monitoring students during various phases of the school day.
  • Preparing instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
  • Providing tutoring to students in all subject areas.
  • Accompanying and supervising students on field trips.

General Experience Requirements

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work. Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • General Experience: One year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of an Educational Aide / Educational Aide (Kindergarten).
  • Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial, or technical school, junior college, college, or university.
  • Combination: A combination of education and experience that computes to at least 100% of the requirements.

  • Pay: Hourly, with a range of $17.82 to $22.29.
  • Work Schedule: School year part-time seasonal work schedules include periods in a non-pay/non-duty status during the holidays and spring and summer recess periods.
  • Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are not considered Ordinarily Resident under the applicable Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA).
  • Non-U.S. Citizen Eligibility: A non-U.S. Citizen may be considered if they have a valid active green card, a Social Security Number (SSN), and have resided in the United States for at least three years.
