Develop procedures and ensure equitable work assignment within the division for both permanent and temporary employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop procedures within the intent of available guidelines.
  • Ensure that work is equitably assigned in the division to employees permanently and temporarily assigned.
  • Participate in process improvement projects, utilizing knowledge of process improvement processes and implementation.
  • Maintain records of work accomplishments and time expended.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

Specialized Experience:

  • One year of specialized experience which includes performing inventory management support related to receipt, issue, and storage of materials.
  • Monitoring assigned policies, procedures, and regulations relating to supply chain management.

Education:

  • Master's or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (e.g., Supply Management, Logistics).

Combination of Education and Experience:

  • A combination of education and experience may be used if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. (Calculation: (Total months of experience / 12) + ((Total graduate semester hours beyond the first year / 18))).

Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series. This position is subject to screening and update of required immunizations unless exempted for medical or administrative reasons in accordance with Army Regulation 40-562, Chapters 3 and 4. A job offer to an applicant who is not a current employee subject to this requirement will be withdrawn if the candidate refuses to undergo immunization screening. Employment Conditions

  • Probationary Period: This position requires a 1-year probationary period during which the agency evaluates fitness and continued employment.
  • Relocation/PCS: Recruitment or relocation incentives are not authorized. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized.
  • Medical Care: Employees and family members requiring medical or dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining and paying for such care.
