Position Overview
We are seeking retired Americans, visa holders, or Japanese speakers with English proficiency who have experience in golf and customer service to join our team at Kadena Golf Course.
This dual-role position combines pro shop operations and starter duties to ensure smooth daily play and excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing exceptional service.
- Operate the POS system for tee times, rentals, and merchandise transactions.
- Sell golf-related products and maintain an organized pro shop.
- Act as course starter—manage tee times, monitor pace of play, and enforce course rules.
- Support tournaments, events, and general course operations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- English proficiency and Japanese conversational ability required.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in golf and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some golf experience, with knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.
- Retail or customer service experience.
