Manage and supervise various construction works on US military bases in Okinawa Prefecture, handling construction management, cost control, and quality assurance.

Engineering & Sitework

This role involves on-site management and supervision for ongoing projects. You will primarily be entrusted with the construction management of various construction works at US military bases in Okinawa Prefecture.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Process Control: Process adjustment and creating process charts.
  • Cost Management: Working budget creation, material procurement, and estimation.
  • Health and Safety: Management as the person in charge of safety.
  • Materials Management: Ordering, managing, and creating lists of materials, including overseas products.
  • Quality Control: Overseeing on-site personnel, working drawings, approval drawings, materials, subcontractors, and production drawing arrangements.
  • Any other works designated by the company.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing construction sites.
  • A person who has qualifications in either Mechanical, Architectural, or Electrical work execution.
  • Valid International or Japanese Driver's License.
  • Business-level English or Japanese skills required for conversation, reading, and writing (e.g., TOEIC 750 or higher / JLPT N3 and higher).
  • Legal resident of Japan (Resident / Work visa).

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Military construction experience site is a plus.

Additional Info

Salary and Compensation

  • Base Salary: 220,000–385,000 JPY per month (determined by skills and experience).
  • Qualification Allowance: 5,000–50,000 JPY (depends on license/qualification).
  • TOEIC Bonus: 10,000 JPY (for scores over 900).
  • Commuting Allowance: Applicable if one-way distance is over 2km (up to 30,000 JPY per month).
  • Bonuses: Twice a year (July and December), totaling 2.0x base salary (results from previous year is 3.0x).
  • Pay Raise: Once a year (Spring).
  • Retirement Bonus: Applicable upon reaching 1 year of service.

Working Conditions

  • Hours: 8:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break).
  • Overtime: Some overtime work may be required.
  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and other company-specified days (124 non-working days per year).
  • Leave: 10 days of annual leave provided after 6 months of service.
