Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in architectural design, space planning, or interior design including commercial, federal, or military projects
  • Experience producing comprehensive design packages, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules
  • Experience in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp or Rhino
  • Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), International Building Code (IBC), Life Safety Codes, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines
  • Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams including MEP, structural, and civil to integrate building systems into cohesive designs
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with DoD clients, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), or Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC)
  • Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes
  • Possession of strong presentation and communication skills to effectively brief stakeholders and leadership on design concepts
  • Top Secret clearance
  • National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Registered Architect (RA) license, or National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Certification

Salary

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Location

This position is listed as on-site in Okinawa, Japan. Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
