Manage and supervise various construction works on US military bases in Okinawa Prefecture, handling construction management, cost control, and quality assurance.

Work Contents

We will mainly entrust you with the construction management of various construction works in the US military base in Okinawa Prefecture. Specifically, you will be in charge of construction management, cost management, quality control, safety and health, and site supervision.

  • Process Control: Process adjustment, creating process chart
  • Cost management: Working budget creation, material pick-up, estimation
  • Health and safety: Management as a person in charge of safety
  • Materials management: Ordering, management, and list creation of materials including materials for overseas products
  • Quality control: On-site personnel, working drawings, approval drawings, materials, subcontractors, production drawing arrangements
  • Any other works designated by the company

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing construction sites.
  • A person who has qualifications in either Mechanical, Architectural, or Electrical work execution.
  • Valid International or Japanese Driver's License.
  • Business-level English or Japanese skills required for conversation, reading, and writing.
  • Legal resident of Japan (Resident / Work visa).
  • Japanese Driver's License.

  • Business level English (conversation, reading, and writing).
  • Legal resident of Japan (Resident / Work visa).

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Military construction experience site is a plus.

Salary and Compensation

  • Base Salary: 220,000–385,000 JPY per month (determined by skills and experience).
  • Qualification Allowance: 5,000–50,000 JPY (depends on the type of license/qualification).
  • TOEIC Bonus: 10,000 yen (for scores over 900; candidates from official English-speaking countries are excluded).
  • Commuting Allowance: Applicable when one-way distance is over 2km (up to 30,000 JPY per month).
  • Bonus: Twice a year (July and December), calculated as Base salary x 2.0 (results from previous year is 3.0).
  • Pay Raise: Once a year (Spring).
  • Retirement Bonus: Applicable to join the system when an employee reaches 1 year of service.

Working Conditions

  • Working Hours: 8:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch break). Overtime may occur.
  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and other days specified by the company (124 non-working days per year).
  • Annual Leave: 10 days provided after 6 months of service.
